Human Resources Generalist

The HR Generalist is part of a site HR leadership team triad (HRBP, Generalist, Coordinator) responsible for driving organizational performance and talent development.
This role reports to Sr.
HR Manager.
This position is responsible for supporting the site HRBP and providing increased organizational capability for all functional departments at the location.
This involves developing and implementing HR initiatives that will increase organizational effectiveness, build capability and derive the full potential of the workforce.
In this role, you'll be executing appropriate action in support of employee relations, using data to develop recommendations focused on improving ER/HR processes and positively impacting overall business performance and HR team metrics.

The role:
Assists the HRBP in developing recommendations to business leaders including promotion assessments and proactively monitoring recruiting needs Reviews, recommends and ensures a consistent approach to business process and procedures that align with company policy Contributes to human resource compliance efforts by ensuring guidelines and policies are consistent and enforced in the areas of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc Supports the talent acquisition process by providing leverage to the HRBP in talent reviews and critical hiring conversations with business managers including assisting business units with talent search communications Supports implementation of talent development and learning efforts to meet org needs Overcomes obstacles to delivering quality HR services by identify roadblocks, inconsistencies and efficiencies The candidate:
Undergraduate degree (BA/BS), business majors preferred PHR or SHRM certification a plus 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required Comfort with ambiguity; able to lead projects to completion with little supervision Ability to maintain focus on work assignments and activities when faced with changes, problems, competing priorities or stressful situations Experienced in Labor/Employee Relations, Recruitment and Selection, Benefits and Compensation, as well as policy and procedure interpretation Must have working knowledge of state and federal laws along with practical usage Must have experience in administering FMLA, affirmative action planning, and workers compensation management and unemployment policies Experience facilitating training/learning in large group presentations Catalent offers rewarding opportunities to further your career!
